Drawing is what Lies has done since she can remember. Putting shapes to ideas, using the pencil as an extension of the hand, the arm, the thoughts, the feelings. By having drawn so much over four decades, drawing has become a fluid, natural and complete way of expressing herself. Lies finds it fascinating to look at her right hand that draws the drawing.
